Brave New World Book Cover

Book covers are interesting, because they need to be both true to the story, and arresting to any passer-by. Brave New World is, at it’s essence, about a man not so different from us and his struggle to fit in with the world around him where sedation and group-think are the norm. I tried to evoke this feeling through this book cover, everyone makes up their part of the pattern, no one is out of line except for the one at the bottom, representing “The Savage.” A man with words in his head instead of SOMA, the sedative drug of choice for the population.
